LIM Repair
 

Hi, I am new to this website/forum, and thanks for having me. I apologize if my introduction is a little brief, but I am so anxiety laden right now concerning my car, and am hoping for a little ray of hope.

Put car in shop yesterday to fix lower intake gasket. From a little investigation on internet discovered this Pontiac site, and found forums on intake gaskets for some cars from 1995 through 2005(?). Anyway, felt a little nervous because from what I read, this repair can be a little tricky. An auto parts store manager and auto repair instructor assured me this was a good shop and the mechanics seemed confident with their ability to do repair with no problem. I paid but then they kept starting it and motor sounded good, but car would not stay on. I had to leave car at shop and I am hoping and praying that everything is going to be allright and I will get car back with no other problems and expense--please someone reassure me. I need my car to continue with job search. I apologize for sounding so frantic, but I am and cannot help it until I get my car back and see for myself that it is the same super dependable vehicle that it has always been.
