Newbie in NY

Hi! I'm new to this and don't quite know how it works. I have a 96 Sunfire 2.2 and I have screwed up the fuel line connectors at the gas tank and need advice from someone on how to fix. I' grateful for any help offered.

what type are they???? screw in? clamped hose?? if they are screwed in like a brake line you'll have to replace the whole line. it has a lot of pressure on it

RE: Newbie in NY

There are three lines. One plasticand two steel lines. they have some type of push in connections which cannot be released without releasing some spring type clips inside the connectors. The problem is they have gotten so corroded being under the car at the gas tank that I believe thateven using the plastic removal tool will not release them so they can be used again. Is it possible to somehow put new ends on these lines or maybe connect them with double hose clamps?
