Trying to figure out what i have
 

Ok, so my dad bought this car years ago, and we kind of know what it is, and what it was used for. But im having the hardest time finding ANY information about it. What it is, is a 1955 pontiac "truck". What happened was, a company was hired by pontiac to convert a Safari Sport Wagon, into a truck, with a removable top, so you can have it as a wagon, or remove it, and make it into a truck. This is made possible by removing the back seat. putting up a devider just behind the front seat, cutting the roof out, and adding metal to the base, so it has something to sit on when installed, with straps to hold it in place. Nobody iv'e talked to so far doesnt know anything about it, and id just really like to know about this. I'll be posting pictures later so you all can see this for yourselves.
