Default 1977 GP Exhaust Manifold

Hi To all. This is my first post.

I have an ultra clean '77 GP (400 cid), and the LHS exhaust manifold is cracked. I believe the GM part number is 499623.

1. Are the 1977 400 CID Firebird exhaust manifolds the same as the GP ?

2. Where can I purchase a (preferably new) exhaust manifold ?

3. Has anybody had any luck welding an exhaust manifold ?

Thanks,

M....

Yes, You need one for a fullsize GP or a firebird, Thay use the center dunp. The A bodys use the back dumps where the exhaust comes out.
