Howdy everyone. I got a 71 formula 455 that is just about done outside of paint and body. I have very minor things here and there to take care of but the one issue that is bugging me the most currently is the fact that I currently do not have a mirror on the right hand side. It came loose a bit ago and I ended up completely removing it so that I wouldn't lose the mirror. I ordered a new kit from classic industries and based on what I see in the kit and what I've found online, it looks like this thing attaches by just the 2 screws into the door?! I feel like that can't be correct. I tightened down the screws but it was still loose and I was able to just pull straight out and remove the whole mirror. I feel like there's gotta be something inside the door for this thing to catch onto but haven't been able to find anything on that. Anyone know how I'm supposed to reattach this thing?
