I'm working on a 79 firebird and ordered a replacement radiator support. The original and the one on my 78 T/A have a bolt on brace under the frame that bolts to the support near radiator, then to outer edge of the support, then to lower edge of the front fender. The replacement support is one piece and that part is made into the support.
Was this a year change or updated part? or is this a cheap way to make the replacement that makes it incorrect in my opinion?
