Default computer problem???

Ok so here's the scoop guys,
i have an 85 trans am, 305 EFI, when i got the car there was always a miss or something in the motor, it would shake when ever it tried to shift to cursing gears.
so i decided to tear it down and rebuild it, new crank bearings right to the injectors. so i got all that done and the motor back in the car but now it wont run properly. i got the car to start after i picked up a new starter, but it ran like a bag a ****, it seemed to run not to bad when you revved it up, but it idled like crap, could barley keep it running at idle , so i got my Buddie to hook the car to his computer, when we went through the codes, it said the car was basically in limp home mode, so the CPU was fried.
so i picked up a re-fab computer and threw it in.
now the car will idle nicely but it WILL NOT rev up, at all, as soon as i touch the throttle its like you shut gas off or you block the intake, it just dies .

i have no idea what is going on with this thing and i have been working at it for at least 3 months now.
can any one help me? has anyone had this problem before, is it as simple as a friggin sensor??

thanks guys

If it has a Optispark sensor It could cause that, There is a way to check it, You can find that on the net, It will be below your water pump, There will be 2 wires comeing from it. Good luck Randy.
