Default Dyno Tuning, etc...plz help!

1995 Pontiac Firebird Trans-AM, 5.7L,LT1 350. I need suggestions for how to get it properly tuned i.e., computer-tuning. I have installed another motor out of a 1997 police interceptor which has a different cam, etc. I need tuning to be non-factory/aftermarket parts included. I live in the local Vancouver, WA area. I prefer a professional outfit with gear to tune my car. I am also open to Hypertech or other product suggestions. Please help!! Thanks in advance.

Default RE: Dyno Tuning, etc...plz help!

Ideally a professional tuner is your best bet. You should look for a shop that has a load-bearing dyno and is capable of doing wide-band oxygen sensing.
Some tuners say they can tune using the voltage readings from your O2 sensors. Avoid these folks if at all possible. I did a Google search for vancouver, WA and dyno. and found these shops listed.

=====
Note These are places with dynos not neccessarily folks that can tune your car. I would advise calling several if not all and talk with them.
Find out what cars they specialize in, how long they have been tuning, what type of dyno (remember load-bearing dyno is a must) and also capable of wide-band oxygen sensing. A good tuner will take a couple of hours at least to get things right. Don't try to be cheap!!! A new LT-1 engine will cost you about $4500 plus installation. Good luck.

One more thing a 1995 Firebird is a 4th Generation not a 3rd.
