Default New on here... 90 trans am problems.. HELP!

hey guys i just purchased a 1990 pontiac trans am GTA and when i got it, the car started bogging when i would floor it. the same day i got it, i parked it on my driveway after a good 50 mile drive... i let it sit for a few minutes and then got back in the car and proceeded to try and start it... the car would not start.. anyways... my father and i figured it was the fuel pump.. so we went ahead and changed that... after we dropped the car off the stands it started right up then i went for a test drive and no more bogging.. it ran awsome... after i came back from the test drive, i parked it once again on the driveway and turned it off... tried starting it back up again and once again would not start... we popped the hood, and figured maybe it needs a tune up... changed the cap, rotor, and module.. put all that in, and still doesnt start.. **this was the weird part, we took of the air ram and sprayed some starting fluid into the throttle body, and boom it started up... stayed idle and everything... but once we shut it off again, it wouldnt start... so this is where we are stuck.. this is our first pontiac and any feedback would be helpful! thanks
