4th gen manual conversion

4th gen manual conversion
I have a 97 Friebird Formula 350 convertable.
It's currently infested by a 4L60E autobox which is getting a bit green about the gills.
I have been offered a Camaro of similar vintage which has the manual trans fitted. Apart from the obvious parts like pedal box and driveshaft. I need to know which of the smaller parts I'd need to change out in order to perform the swap successfully.
I'm thinking things like ECU or sensors since the 4L60E is an electronically controlled piece.
Can anyone give me any info................???
Cheers.

Well you are going to need all of the clutch components, master cylinder, lines, etc. I cannot see how the actual mechanical conversion could be very difficult, but a little time consuming. Not sure if the starter is going to swap sides when going from auto to manual. That’s the kind of things you want to study between the two. I really think that the toughest part of the swap is going to be the ECM programming. Almost certain that you will have to get the dealer involved in that part. If you got an entire manual transmission donor car, you should have pretty much all you need. I would take several pictures from underneath both cars while transmissions are in tact. That way you can sit in your easy chair, and study a plan of attach. Same with the pedal set up inside the car.
