I have a 95 trans am that doesn't want to turn over. the timing belt is just about to spin and then it stops. The car makes a loud "clicking" sound when you try and turn it over. Anyone out there that might know what could be causing this?

 

oh boy...well are you familure with the opti spark at all. I hope so, if not the opti spark is pretty much the distributer on the LT1's. It sounds like your opti spark has gone bad. That can take you around 6-8 hrs to replace if you have the know how and tools. How ever. It could be your ignition coil as well. I just got done replacing both the optispark and the ignitin coil in my 95 trans am.... Good luck
