Fiero This compact mid-engine sports car may not have had a long existance, but in its time, it acquired quite a following.

Default Northstar Fiero

I am not currently a Fiero owner. As my other project vehilcle is being to wrap up, I've been mentally toying around with the idea of becoming one. It would be a welcome change from the land yaght cadillac fleetwood I have. Before I buy one though I'd like to know what I can and cannot do with it. Particularly if I could put in a northstar. I know that many a LT1's have been put in these cars so I would imagine there is room. I need to know more about what it would take to do this. Do I need a new transmission? How much welding do I need to do to make new engine mounts. Will there be room for a larger radiator for a V8? Anything else I should be aware of?
