Tire width on 16 wheels

Tire width on 16 wheels
I have a 2004 Grand Am with 225/50/16 tires on it, I wonder if I can replace them with 205/50/16 . I only use the car for food deliveries that will be getting rid of it in six months. Dont want to spring for a new tires and I have four used tires thst are 205s will they work without any major issues?
