I have been searching the net trying to find some place that can explain what the codes are in the vin. I have found what the last six number are. what the first three numbers are. but 3 thur 11 are a mistery. they say that number 9 is a randum number. the 10th is the year. Does any one have a break down of what the others are. like what does a 5 mean in position 7, or y in position number 5. does any one have a copy of the VDS codes.

 

I'm guessing no one has a clue to what they mean eather. now I don't feel bad that I could not find them. Must be a trade secret ha ha
