2000 grnd prix gt running problem

runs perfect untill 15 minutes then sputters then shuts off wont turn on till it cools down. any help please. 2000 gt 3800/ 96,000 mls /just got the car and dont know the history on it.

I know this may sound strange but check the coil packs. I've had experience with a few that when they get nice and warm they falter.
