Default daytime running light/hi-beam problem

hi everyone!
i have a 2000 2.2 sunfire and here is my problem when i shift from park to "D" the green DRL light in the dashboard flashes 2 or 3 times but does not lit. and when i pull the hi beam "switch" the low beans are shutting off and i dont get any light. can someone help me please? and if it is a relay or something like that can you tell where it is located?

Default RE: daytime running light/hi-beam problem

Not sure if you resolved this or not, but my wife's car was doing something similar, it was just a burnt bulb in her case. if both your hi beams are out maybe you should try replaceing a bulb and seeing if that helps. your DRLs are actually your hi beams at a reduced output. The relay is in the fuse panel on the side of the dash, check your manuel if you have it.
