I have a problem with the blower motor for the ac/heater. I replaced Blower resistor and motor. When your turn the fan to 1,2,3,4 the daytime running lights go out and the blower doesn't work ( works only on 5). Anyone have any ideas????? (before I drive it in the river)

I have a similar problem, my fan only works on high. I think it's the resistor, where is it located? I have a 1999 GP.
