Default Blower Speed Switch

I have a 1999 grand prix and had to put a new blower motor in it becuase it was making a terrible sound.
Also the blower moter switch would only work on the highest setting. So I just figured it needed a new switch as well so I replaced it with a new climate control module. It did not fix the problem, it still only works on the highest speed setting. Any help with this problem will be greatly appreciated.

is the blower housing on a 2000 on the passenger side? The resistor is blown there too and needs to be fixed. Thanks!
