I have a 2005 Gtp, and lately it will randomly shut off. Sometimes while driving, sometimes idling in a drive through, or at a stop sign. It takes a few tries, but will start back up, no check engine lights.
It is so embarassing and scary! I’m so ready to get rid of this car. Hoping to limp it along until I can get something newer however, Anyone know what this could be?
Recently replaced alternator and the battery voltage is steady at 13.98 to 14.50 sometimes it fluctuates down to 12.70 but this last time the car died, the voltage was above 14. with new alternator
Anyways point being when alternator was replaced we cleaned all the battery terminals and crap with sandpaper. And looked it all over.

why does this piece of crap keep shutting off. Imagine getting stuck in a drive thru with a million people behind u just blocking the way
