Default Change Oil Soon Light

I have a 98 3.8L GT and the Change Oil Soon light stays on for about a minute every time I start my car. It started happening around 94k miles. I change the oil every 3k miles so I'm not sure why the light stays on.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,
-Nick-

u might want to check your oil pan gasket. i have the same problem in my 97 GT and a mechanic said there is a leak in the pan and it causes engine oil pressure to be waaaaaaaay off when u start the car but after a few seconds the engine will build up the necessary amount of pressure and the light will go off. which is what mines does. hope this helps.
