Default Valve knock at 2000 rpm.

My 04 GP non-supercharged has a "knock" at 2000 rpm and light throttle. The car has 90000 miles on it. I use only full synthetic, regularly check oil level, air cleaner, etc. I only use name brand gas and occasionally put drygas in the tank. I am going to replace the plugs and wires to see if that helps. Any other ideas? Knock sensor maybe?

how hard have you ran your car? it may be a rod that's causing the knock if you have been running your car too hard or because of how many miles it has on it.

I do not abuse the car at all. Maybe twice a month I punch it to the floor. I like to think that I drive normally. I do 70-75 on the highway. I would think a rod would knock upon startup, which it doesn't. It really has me baffled.

Thanks, Tom
