2005 Pontiac G6 Car Starter Problems
Now that winter hit I have been trying to use my automatic car starter but every time I try to start it by using the remote the horn sounds and my car doesn't start. Any idea's why this would just stop working?

Thanks for the input. I went over my lunch today and replaced the battery in my fab but I still get the same thing. I lock it and hold down the starter but for two sec. and my horn starts to sound. The car starter came standard already in the car when I bought it....what's my next step?

Is this your only remote? It may be as simple as replacing that remote. The other problem may be a short somewhere in the remote starter in the car. Since it is factory installed it may be covered under the warranty.

since there's nothing wrong with your starter, why don't you check if something is intercepting the signal that your remote send to the car. This happens allot in commercial parking lots like near cell towers, banks, malls & government buildings. Or perhaps devices that could intercept the signal.
