Default rear suspension

Hello fellow Pontiatics.....I have a 1969 Pontiac Custom "S" which I have built the way I would have ordered it back in the day. After replacing the rear end with a Ford 9"-take it easy all you purists-I noticed a vibration coming from the rear above 60MPH+. I checked the driveshaft angle 3*+ and pinion was 6*+. Am in the process of installing adjustable upper control arms to hopefully remedy this. Two questions.....
1-can I replace the rear shocks with adjustable coil overs and remove the coils that are in place and run without?
2- What is the correct setting for the pinion angles on rear/driveshaft?
Thanks for any help
Jim
