I need help with my 99 pontiac sunfire automatic. It won't shift from the park position. It was running and shifting fine. Shut it off and went inside for 10 minutes came back out and it started fine and continues to run fine. It just won't let me shift from the park position. All fuses are fine. PLease help

Yeah the shift lock took a dump on me a while back and not only wouldn't it let me shift out of park but it wouldn't let me take the key out either. $350 dollars later and ....[:@]
