Anyone know where the blower motor is?
Hey guys, I have a 1999 Grand Am GT. The car is awesome, but it needs some fixin. When I turn on my AC or heat I get a funky vibration and noise. I'm thinking something is stuck in the blower fan, or maybe it just needs a new one. First I have to get to it. I pulled out the passenger side glove box and I think I've found the motor/fan. Is that it? If so, what do you think the best angle would be to get to it. Thanks in advance!
Most blower motors are mounted on the firewall under the hood on the passenger side. I have changed a few and it is not very difficult to get to, providing there isn't a lot of "plumbing" in front of it. Be sure to check all the fuses first, just in case!! good luck
