Grand Prix This long running model has seen many changes, from a large RWD car, to a smaller RWD car, to a small FWD car, to a large FWD car, and with its available supercharged engines, and powerful V8s, it has never left the limelight as one of the most popular cars in America.

How difficult is it to swap an engine in a 1994 se with the 3.1 liter? Is there any place to get detailed instructions.?

If you're looking at an exact swap with the 3.1L it's not that hard. The chilton manual does a pretty good job at it but I prefer the Haynes manual though. If your looking to upgrade I would say a 3.4 would be the same aside for maybe a bigger ring and pinion gear in your differential and maybe tweak the gear ratios. Anything bigger would prob be more indepth like bigger fuel pump, altenator.....I don't really know. Hope this helps.
