how do i disconect the front bumper from the frunt fender on a 2002 grandprix gt.

how do i disconect the front bumper from the frunt fender on a 2002 grandprix gt.
it has a star looking plastic fitting that i think you turn to match the hole. is there a special wrench you use or just find something to turn it.. if you break it where can i but the piece. never seen this before. i have a 2002 grand prix gt.you help would be great
