Alternator pin type
We are currently rebuilding the electrical of a 2007 Pontiac Montana 3.9 SV6 to compete in DBdrag/Bassrace. (Stereo competition)
The stock system has a 125A HO alternator. NOT enough,
I have the opportunity to purchase a DC Power 270A alternator ,used ,for a great price.
It came out of a 2005 Pontiac G5 with a 3.5l V6.
Will the two interchange without mods.
DC Power says yes, it will swap over if it is the same pin type.
Are they the same pin type?
The van currently has BOSCH Part # AL8806X, I believe
