New to pontiac ownership but not new to the classic's.
Started 2020 with a 75 Vette L48 4 speed and a 70 Dart 340 4 speed. Sold the Stingray in July to have time to enjoy the Dart more often. In August the Mrs. found a 64 Tempest convertible she really liked so off I went and bought the Tempest. I still didn't want 2 classics to care for so I put the Dart up and sold it 2 days ago.
Our "franken-tempest" started life as black paint with burgundy interior according to the firewall plate. Now it is bright red with white interior. Started life with a 326 auto and now has a 400 with a th400 tranny. The 400 and tranny was from a 69 Firebird and comes with long tube headers, chrome valve covers and air cleaner and an Edelbrock1406 on top. Started as a Tempest Custom and now has LeMans door panels. All of the changes were made by one of the previous owners. There is a lot of work ahead of me to get it to a respectable driver quality car but winter is coming and I have plenty of time to get it ready for Spring.
