Lowering Blocks Factory?

Default Lowering Blocks Factory?
I have a '57 Pontiac Custom Safari, 2-door, that has 1 & 1/2" spacers between the axle and rear leaf spring. Does anyone know if these came that way from the factory? They appear to be original.
