My name is Jason. I am new to the forum. Thanksgiving day I bought a 1981 Trans Am black with T-tops. The T/A needs paint and some body work. The T/A has some rust but for being in Texas it isn't too bad!!! The motor has been replaced. I was told when I purchased the T/A it has a 455 out of a 73 T/A. I'm not sure I want to find the numbers on the block and decode them. If it is a 455 out of a 1973 T/A I will be excited but if not it wasn't a deal breaker for me to buy.
