Default New to forum Grande Parisienne

Hi I'm Georgie, I have a 68 Grande Parisienne (hence the user name) and have definitely run into problems with the cross over of parts/lack of parts for it specifically.

We did a top rebuild on the 327 and the most commonly asked (and mostly unanswered) question was: Do I order for an Impala or a Bonneville or a Caprice?

Anyone else had this problem or have an answer or a cheat sheet lol.

I'm trying to find a BT old style headunit for the stereo for it. The Impala one doesn't fit. Neither, apparently, does the one for the Bonneville. *sigh*

Far as the build, it started out as "let's just put EFI on it" but one thing led to another and I ended up with fitech, 292 cam, lifters, aluminum heads, intake and stainless headers, which resulted in a glass pack exhaust with axle dump and most recently 4.11s and posi rear end.

At some point it was hit on the rear passenger fender so needs a small amount of body work.
But the frame is solid and it came with a turbo 400, so I figured it was a good base for a light build.

I'm glad there's a forum! Hopefully there are others with Grande Parisiennes here!

Thanks for reading.

A beautiful car with 400 horsepower from the turbo that can go over mountains, regular maintenance and maintenance of your car can save a lot of trouble.
