I’ve into cars for over 45 years. My first was a 1969 Mach1, and now at 59 YOA, the collection grew to 4 1969 Mach1’s, 2 1970 and 2 1969 Dodge Charger RT’s, 2 1070 Roadrunner’s, and several other cars and trucks. Having all different types of cars and gaining all this knowledge, I thought I knew a decent amount of stuff about a lot of different cars, but,,,, I just recently came across something that I never even knew existed till a couple of months ago! I purchased a 1986 Pontiac Tojan. When I had first seen it I thought it was a kit type car, then after snooping around the internet I find that the car is only 1 of 136 cars ever built from 1985 to 1991, and only 1 of 24 ever built with T tops, I also found some info that stated that at least 70% of them left the country after being built. Although I was looking for a 1966 or 1967 GTO I had come across this Tojan and just picked it up. I’m still looking for a GTO but I wanted to share this very cool and as it turns out very rare car that GM contracted with Knudsen Automotive over a 6 year period for this special order hand made/assembled production car. If anyone has any info or any way of telling how to find out what production number car I have that would be awesome. I thanks you in advance. Also if there is any interest in this vehicle please let me know. Thanks john
