For those of you that may be new to PT.com, I am nj85z28, Administrator here and at CamaroForums.com.

Over the last few years these forums have become active with spammers. Posting links to ****, etc. Even going as far as to private message users of our boards posing as Admins or Moderators. The only Admins/Moderators of this site as of 3/15/2010 are-

IB Vendor Setup and
PostRelease


Out of those the only ones that might actually send a PM would be Patrick or myself. So please, DO NOT open messages from those posing as officials from PT.com.

For those of you who continue to PM me about the spammers, here is an update

I have adjusted the usergroup settings to disallow anyone under 10 posts more than 1 Private Message

Anyone awaiting email confirmation can no longer send PM's

Anyone in the COPPA section can no longer send PM's

This should alleviate the problem. If you do get a junk PM after today which is March 18, 2010, please post the name here and they will be taken care of.

I believe I have been mistakenly added and registered to your forum. While I do have interest it will be best to remove me from your registery untill this is cleared up. I regularly run spam and virus protection so how this got here is a mystery to me.

There is nothing in my user cp and I would have filled out something so the registry is bogus.

Just delete me altogether. Thanks

 

If you read what I said at all, you would see that WE are NOT sending those messages. They are being sent by SPAM BOTS.

I am doing my best to eradicate the problem
