Unhappy '05 Sunfire body question

So I was camping I parked on a dirt area and as I was pulling out, I guess I drove over a low stump which caught the front bumper and ripped half of it off. It was hanging by a little so I cut that part off and I do realize I'm now going to have to get a whole new

(That is not my car)
I was wondering if it would be cheaper to just get a bodykit. I figure throwing rice at it would be cheaper. If I did the front bumper I'd just do all sides. It wouldn't ride low it would just look better than it did at the cost of (if fiberglass) cracking but I guess urethane is stronger but more difficult to paint. If I did get a kit which should I go for?

I mean the original bumper is plastic. I was able to just tear it off using the back of a hammer.

My first question is should I just get a kit and if I do what kind? If I was to get one I wouldn't want a low one.

And lastly, is this the cheapest way to fix my bumper?

I would call the local salvage yard and see how much a new bumper cover would be. Id bet it would be cheaper than a whole bodykit by a big margin.
