on my 1999 sunfire the ets light is on which means the system is off it just happened suddenly about a week ago if I hold the button in it goes off car runs fine no other problem and I had a shop scan for a code and it came up with p1860 whichis torque converter clutch (tcc) PWM solenoid circuit I checked the usual suspects plugs on speed sensors and so on any other clues

i've heard gm has had alot of trouble with their locking torque converters or a wheal bearing
