Default Lowering Sunfire

Alright I just got some new motegi 17 inch black rims for my sunfire, but it sits up to high..im look to lower it to where the outside of my fender is about even with the top of my tire....Any ideas on how many inches i should lower it and what kind of springs to get???

we also need to know your tire size. a 245/45R17 has a higher sidewall than a 245/35R17
