Grand Prix This long running model has seen many changes, from a large RWD car, to a smaller RWD car, to a small FWD car, to a large FWD car, and with its available supercharged engines, and powerful V8s, it has never left the limelight as one of the most popular cars in America.

Default bad vibration

i just started to drive my car for 2 days and it started knocking and shacking reall bad. i found out that i leak oil out of the front cover bad, but i put some in and the knocking stoped and the vib calmed down a little. but now when i get on the highway it will drive good but when i get 65 -75 and let off the gas a little and it shifts into a higher overdrive it will start vibrating bad. i was told it could be the torque converter or the torque converter clutch solenoid. any suggetions before i spend lots of money to get it fixed

thanks

Default RE: bad vibration

it very well might be the TCC solenoid. an easy check is to unplug it, as it wont hurt anything but your gas mileage, and it would stop shaking. it should be right behind the wheel well on the drivers side, by the side tranny pan.
